You can do it in Rogue Wars, but unfortunately there's a price to pay for such an opportunity, because you are going to have some competition. It's time again for war. Your planet was destroyed in the Terran-Brim war (you being the Terrans), and now you must colonize new worlds. To get the job done you command a set of Rogues, Remotely Operated Gladiators for Ultimate Expansion, to locate the Terraformer in order to make this happen. But the Brim, your enemies, have the same plans, and unlike your needs for fresh air planets, they seek to make the same new worlds you're interested in into fiery homes containing sulfuric acid rain. Rogue Wars, currently under development by ReAllis, mixes 3D shooter action in with real time strategy. Rogues offers 2 gameplay types with War and Campaign modes. In War mode you remotely control your Rogues from you ship, to collect Omega Crystals and do battle with the Brims when they come into contact with you. This is where turned based strategy and action are combined. The Campaign mode offers a straight action shoot up game style. This one's coming in the fall of this year (2001), and it's already getting some nice attention. There's always room for action/shooters, especially when they take hybrid form like Rogue Wars.
