A 29 year old gamer from deepest, darkest Wales (look it up, folks, it's not part of England. xP), Jay has the nasty habits of trying to say what he honestly thinks of games, and of talking about himself in the third person in bios. He loves games that make him actually *feel* something, and terminates buggy, ill-made POSs with extreme prejudice. A relatively new arrival to GameBoyz, Jay has nonetheless had a year's experience with editing, reviewing, and chatting to the lovely PR folks, so he's no greenhorn! |

Born in Thousand Oaks, California, Casey Kanen has been an avid participator and owner of several video games, preferring the genres of action/adventure and survival/horror over others. His fascination has led him to begin his own blog (vgshambler.wordpress.com) which discusses the finer points of video games in lieu of modern culture and trends. He is just now joining GameBoyz and hopes of harnessing his passion for video games into a forum that everyone can enjoy. |
Reviewer
An aspiring games reviewer and journalist with a penchant for writing flash in the pan articles and reviews for obscure indie titles. Dual-wielding a blue pen in my weapon slot and a trusty notebook in the off-hand, I enjoy nothing more than gaming, writing and reading academic tomes for a history degree. |
Born in upstate New York, moved all over the place, been to pretty much everywhere I've wanted to go...Europe, Canada, the States....that's good enough for me. I joined the gaming community at the ripe age of 6 and have been addicted ever since. Favorite game of all time would be a toss up between Final Fantasy IV and the Assassin's Creed series. I am attending school in January to attain my Associates Degree of Applied Sciences in Computer Network Administration. I have written many game reviews, and hopefully will be able to give some insight to other parts of the community through my unique perspective on life. Look forward to hearing the feedback from everyone, as well. Happy Gaming! |
Martin, the reviewer that nobody needed but the one they deserved. Playing games since the original NES and an avid Batman fan. So much that even the terrible games will have a place in the game shelf (Batman: Dark Tomorrow) but don't get it wrong because he will never lead you to play a bad game even if it includes the Bat himself. A 2011 recruit for the Game Boyz with the hopes of helping this group reach superstar status and make all other geeks jealous. |
Gaming since the original Nintendo graced television screens in the 1980s, Curran had borne witness to the evolution from 8 bit platform games to modern high definition games. He hopes to continue to witness gaming evolution well past the time when video games learn to conquer humanity but choose not to because only people in not well thought out science fiction stories create machines or video games without a safety feature that says "Don't Conquer Us". |
